Fringe is in! I repeat FRINGE IS IN!

I adore fringe and it certainly is apart of my wardrobe, but when a style is 'in' the benefit is its available everywhere! When I saw fringed skirts on the runway I knew I wanted to wear one to Curvy Couture Roadshow, wanting a completely different look to last years outfit where I opted for tonal pink colour blocking. I particularly loved the revamped way of styling fringe with tailored piece such as shirts and vests. Brings a certain subtle understated class to a usually boho (or 70's inspired) style.

But alas, like with most trends, I was unable to find a fringed skirt in plus size fashion. As usual this did not deter me, yet inspire me to recreate the look best I could DIY style. This is really quite a cheap DIY for a super effective finish! In total this outfit cost me under $150 from head to toe.

If you love a trend, there is no reason it cannot be recreated for your curves. It may take a bit more effort, a lot of Pinterest (check out my pinning here!) and a big sewing kit. BUT this will also give you a one off that no one else is wearing and that, is something money cant buy!
