Simplicity

Outfit details:
1.  Top - Target 2. Skirt -  Mesh skirt by Harlow (Available here) 3. Clutch - Kmart 4. Shoes - Wittner clearance store.

Sometimes in life, you just need to keep things simple.

I know its possibly hard to believe, but trust me when I say I do have days when I am drawn to colour! But my staples, my quality and investment pieces are a varying palette of neutrals.

I knew this skirt was a must have, to my capsule collection even though a slightly more trend based addition than norm, a bit like my 17Sundays distressed joggers!, Pretty much because it straight away was a tick, tick, TICK due to it being practical, comfortable and well made.

I spoke last week about buying items in multiple colours, which I highly recommend and this top is a great example! I have it in both the off white and the navy, both having been worn at least once a week since purchase. They are like the night time version of the basic tee, with a slightly dressier fabric (textured with a subtle sheen) and a more fitted cut. Did I mention they are from Target? Target has really been upping the anti recently, I have made one, actually maybe even two 'multiple colour' purchases in the past 6 months and that's after about 12 months of buying zilch, nada!

Hope you are all having a really fabulous start to the fresh new year! x
