Outfit details:
1. Skirt-Target Hot Options (Start of 2013) 2. Top - Dorothy Perkins
3. Shoes-  Wittner 4. Jacket - Thrifted

I am a huge fan of wearing secondhand or thrifted goods. I find many of my pieces preloved on Ebay and see no shame in an item being worn to its full extent, compared to being thrown in the back of a wardrobe for a rainy day that never comes. Like the City Chic skirt, i brought this on Ebay for a third of the original price or this leopard cape i brought for an expensive $2 three years ago!

However, even more so i am a fan of vintage and the fun of the chase! I adore op shopping (I also previously ran an online vintage clothing store for many years!) and like to go as much as possible. I have even been known to plan overnight stays based on the vintage stores.

I thought i may eventually out grow the phase, but to be honest its just heightened since i moved out of home. Now i can thrift for both clothing and housewares! Many of my most worn pieces, you know those pieces that you will just never tire of, are vintage. Many of the pieces i receive the most compliments on? Vintage! The pieces i own that are highest quality? Vintage!

And for those of you who worry that thrifting is not for curves? You are very very wrong! I find that there are many pieces for curves, as in previous generations it was actually common to be a size 14+!

  4. You look so stunning, and I totally agree about the thrifting for sizes over 14. In fact, I usually have better luck than most of my smaller friends. Although, I do usually scour a lot harder too :)
