To be honest, I really have had a New Years Eve rest this year. After such a big year, I thought what better than to spend it relaxing at home with my new puppy Jax. My man headed out to a family friends and I happily relished in the silence and worked on a few D.I.Y projects.

However, that doesn't mean I still didn't spend the last day of 2013 in style! I dressed up for the occasion in quite possible, a few too many layers. But I am always a culprit of that crime!

Opting for flats vs my regular heel, as it did seem a little over the top to stomp around my house in heels. Any boy oh boy were these flats comfortable! (Im wearing a size 11 and these babies go right up to a size 15!) Higher the Heel specialise in larger sizes.

What did you get up to on New Years Eve? More importantly what did you wear? I live vicariously through you ladies this year!

  1. Firstly, I love this outfit. Those trousers are so cool :) I'd love a pair although I'm not too sure they'd suit me!

    I strangely celebrated this year but going out for cocktails with my friend :) I wore a black and gold dress that had a cut out pattern on the top half and the skirt was floaty.

    Anyway, Happy 2014!
