1. Dress - City Chic 2. Shoes- Macys 3. Bag- Etsy

During FFFW one of the main events was the Bloomingdales runway. It was a fabulous venue for an event, i cant say i was very impressed with the fashions or styling of the runway though. It felt like pieces we had all seen before, pieces we most likely also never want to see again. I did not leave feeling inspired by the clothes.

I did however leave feeling inspired by the gorgeous venue, the Bloomingdales store itself is stunning (And you cannot complain when the venue coincidentally matches your outfit!) . From its black glass exterior to its checkered floors and easy layout. This is what made the night for me (and of course myself and Danimezzas last minute trip to Magnolia Bakery followed by a conveniently impromptu shared cab ride!)

Of course i couldnt resist a babe shot of a couple of my fellow fashion front members Jen from Jasifers Lions ClubTy from Gorgeous in Grey and my roommate Danielle from Danimezza

  1. I've seen the photos from the event and I agree; nothing very new or innovative there. How disappointing!
This dress looks great on you btw!

  4. You and Jen were so cute sitting next to each other. That black and white was definitely cute on you and you probably could have walked the runway in it and made much more of a lasting impression. There were only a few pieces that I even received a second glance from me. Perhaps the FFF team will make a few adjustments based on the candid feedback come next year.

  6. I love this dress on you - I had high hopes but it squished my girls too much, and the next size up was too loose everywhere else! But this is how I imagined it would look when I saw it - 60s chic!

    1. It is quite small in that department! I was certainly not game to look down my own top or i would have been scared off wearing it.. i hope not everyone had the same view i had looking down lol xx

    1. Haha you have no idea how excited i was when i saw the checkered floor! I would say it was complete coincidence.. but i think i wore a b&w combo to 80% of the events at least lol

  9. Love your dress and bag combo, and very cool that it matched the decor. Too bad about the clothes though! :-(
