Aussie Curves "Mixing prints"

This outfit post was taken at "Plus Size Fashion Week Australia" by the absolutely lovely Nicola
2 Many Cupcakes. I have not previously been one to mix and match prints however i fall in love with these two pieces together as soon as i first tried it on. There is something fun about this outfit, whether it be the massive peplum or the childlike carousel print on the shirt, all i know I'm in love!

Tip: My one tip for mixing prints, if the prints are quite bold, is to keep a similar colour palette. Keeps the flow and transition between the pieces creating an outfit rather than separate pieces.

The Outfit:
Shirt- Dorothy Perkins
Skirt- ASOS Curve (Size 20 these skirts are cut tiny!)
Earrings- Lovisa
Shoes- Williams
