This weeks theme for Aussie Curves was "Pastels". I cant say my skin tone has ever truly complemented pastels, however in recent years i have learnt to accept my skin tone and break into pastels slowly but surely.
On my Thailand trip i was a little unsure exactly what to wear to the wedding. I knew it was going to be quite casual with the groomsmen wearing local traditional Thai attire, however i had no idea what colours the bridal party were wearing. So i opted for an above the knee dress with a crochet cardigan and espadrille wedges! I love it when i can create an outfit with layers, meaning i have a few different pieces i can wear again rather than one dress that i might only ever wear once more! I also thrifted a lace slip to layer underneath the dress to ensure that it was not too short, now looking at the photos I'm fairly sure it actually look like part of the dress.
And might i add that this just might be the most beautiful location i have ever photographed for my blog, simply stunning and we even (as a group) got to watch the sunset whilst the bride and groom frolicked the beach for pretty pictures!
