Aussie Curves "Skirts"

This weeks theme for Aussie Curves was "Skirts". Naturally this theme was a rather either task for me, skirts are my absolute go to item for hot summer days (Not being much of a shorts fan!). My favourite being a maxi skirt! But through all my skirts this still remains my favourite, i adore the sheer fabric with the cuts and flowing hemline, it keeps me completely cool (actually like wearing a mini skirt) but with the coverage of a maxi skirt! I brought this one from City Chic during the boxing day sales, in two sizes just to be safe, i am pretty gutted i didnt also purchase this in the dip dyed pink version also. I have since found no skirt in plus sizes that have anything even close to the cut of this one!

I have layered it with my mesh City Chic tshirt (Recent stock) to create a dress affect and with a beautiful sunset like this i just couldnt resist getting a few photos whilst in Thailand with my man, before a romantic dinner! I paired the outfit with my gifted Naturalizer Fira from Big Shoe Zam , one of only three pairs of sandals i have ever owned. They were certainly a very welcome addition to my Thailand wardrobe , with the contrasting black and gold and subtle snake print, they complemented and dressed up my generally more casual outfits with ease. As we all know in over 30degree heat, it can be quite hard to dress up and remain cool. They also have small pieces of elastic and are a broad fit which create one super comfy sandal!
