Aussie Curves "Knits"

This weeks theme for Aussie Curves was "Knits". Knits have always been my go-to item for those in-between months (Spring, Autumn) and even as a cropped bolero-arm cover in summer! I love all kinds of knits from boyfriend knits to structured knits, short bolero knits and to the floor lengths!

Actually im not sure there is a style of knit i wouldnt wear?

This knit jacket was sent to me by Romwe a couple of years ago, originally at the time it was for my size 8 model to don but i found it actually was a freesize item and much to my delight i could keep it! Its a great throw over item that still keeps me cool with the cobweb style knit, the neutral colour also manages to work with nearly every colour i match it to! I worked this knit over my beloved jersey maxi dress from Just Jeans. I always find jersey my go to item for long haul trips, usually in the form of a maxi dress! As it keeps me feeling polished and comfortable all at once. I like to layer with a knit due to the unpredictable "weather" of planes, but i also need these layers to work as a blanket if need be.

As for the plane trip i actually strongly suggest Jetstar for those long haul trips (this was 10hour). BUT i also suggest upgrading to the extra leg room and booking an Ipad. For the extra $30AU (for both) it was well worth it and made the trip much more enjoyable, as you can see from the extra leg space! The only part of my ticket i would have changed is booking a meal, as they quickly sold out of the vegetarian options and i ended up filling up on snack food instead!

I also dont wear any makeup on a flight, except for the occasional dash of waterproof mascara. I find that any makeup clogs my skin and makes the dehydration worse. I always wear a night or heavy moisteriser before i hop on and pack a tiny tub of eye cream!

The Outfit:
Jacket - Romwe (Circa 2010)
Dress- Just Jeans (Circa 2009)
Shoes- Betts clearance store.

  4. I'm all about Jetstar, my hot tip is to volunteer to be in the exit row seats as you get FREE extra legroom just for sitting next to the door. Most people don't want to sit there as in an emergency you have to open the door so its a bit of a responsibility, but FREE extra legroom!!!
