Aussie Curves "Blue"

Holiday style tip for curves #101: Pack plenty of basic coloured pieces and a few statement pieces (such as this skirt), the best way to make good use of your suitcase is to be able to dress each piece down for day and up for night with changing only minimal pieces!

This weeks theme for Aussie Curves was "Blue". Blue has never been a colour of choice for myself, it is the one colour that seemingly does nothing for my skin tone, however i came across this sequinned clutch for a $5AU steal in a Cotton On sale bin and just could not resist! I also picked it up for the same price in gold!
I so easily swoon over heavy embellishment, particulary in the sequin form!

Simply Be kindly sent me this skirt to review. Having never purchased any product from the company at all, with a completely unbiased opinion, i was keen to review the garment for quality and fit! As soon as i layed eyes on the fabulous drape front cut and exotic print of the Printed Sarong skirt on the site, i just knew i just had to have it in my wardrobe!

I have to admit however i was initially a little intimidated by the polyester content of this piece (with no elastine) , but this skirt fits like an absolute dream! The sizing is practically spot on, if anything a smidge on the generous side. I ordered a UK18 (Which i think is a AU16) and it fitted unquestionably perfect! I just know how easily i am going to be able to incorporate this skirt into my summer wardrobe, so many plain coloured tops that will match in with the rainbow of colours featured in it!

The Outfit:
Top - Crossroads (SALE $15)

I can't seem to find a shipping option on the simply be site. Do they do international shipping or did you use a forwarding service?
