The Classic Trench.

Coming into winter it really has started becoming colder and colder each day here in Melbourne. I have to admit i have never been much of a coat wearer, but its just that cold that i couldn't resist a new trench. (Yet another weather related justification for a purchase!)

I adore the classic beige of this trench, i was tempted by its brighter companions but to be honest the fad's of fashion colours fade so quickly on me that a classic colour was much more practical! Also since many of my layering items for winter (Cardigans & Blazers) are darker coloured i thought a lighter colour would be a nice addition.

For me the shape of trench coats are the most best cut for curves. The slight A-line cut and belted waist, even the addition of the shoulder tabs, really accentuate your curves in the right places. I don't believes in "flattering" your curves, even though i use the term alot, but i do believe that there are certain cuts of clothing that bring out the best features on a curvier figure!

But always just go for it with those pieces you adore, shape and cut fast fall out the window for me if i really fall in love with a piece.

At the end of the day if anything in life makes you feel fabulous (and wont kill you or hurt anyone!) then i say go for it!
